To be successful in an Eaton Accounting or Finance role, the following skills or prior experiences may be helpful:
- Manufacturing finance experience
- Fundamental understanding of internal controls, including background in SOX 404 and 302
- Broad understanding of U.S. GAAP and the regulatory compliance framework
- International experience across financial disciplines
| | - Understanding and recognition of commercial and accounting differences existing between U.S. and non-U.S. operations
- Understanding of fundamentals of foreign exchange accounting

- Financial analysis experience (ability to prepare assessments at both a high level and a detailed level)
- Management/Leadership experience (including influencing skills)
- Project experience working with cross-functional teams
