Our employees come from diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds, span several generations, hold varying beliefs, and bring their unique experiences to work with them every day. It is essential to attract future employees from a rich and diverse talent pool to continue our growth and success. Below are several groups we partner with to attract diverse candidates.
The National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering female business professionals, to assisting women into leadership positions in corporate America, and to enhancing the diversity of the nation's workforce. Our focus is on the development of early to mid-career stage professionals. We serve three related client groups: female MBA students, female business professionals, and employers.
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a not-for-profit educational and service organization that empowers women to succeed and advance in the field of engineering, and to be recognized for their life-changing contributions as engineers and leaders. Founded in 1950, SWE is the driving force that establishes engineering as a highly desirable career for women through an exciting array of training and development programs, networking opportunities, scholarships, outreach and advocacy activities, and much more. The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is the leading social-technical organization whose primary function is to enhance the potential of Hispanics in engineering, math and science. Founded in 1974, with the objective to form a national organization of professional engineers to serve as role models in the Hispanic community, SHPE has grown into independent network of professional and student chapters throughout the nation and abroad. The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management is the country’s preeminent organization for promoting diversity and inclusion in American business. Through an annual competition, The Consortium awards merit-based, full-tuition fellowships to America’s best and brightest candidates. In conjunction with our member schools, sponsoring companies, and our elite group of MBA students and alumni, The Consortium has built a 44 year legacy of fostering inclusion and changing the ethnic and cultural face of American business. |

| “Recruiting top talent is a key element for the continued growth and success of Eaton Corporation. I had the opportunity to attend the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) annual convention this year to recruit for entry level and experienced positions. I was extremely impressed with the quality and quantity of high potential candidates that the Eaton team was able to identify. Having the ability to interview candidate’s onsite accelerated the hiring process and the EESS Division was able to quickly hire a few candidates identified at this event. We will certainly have representation from the Services Division at the annual convention again next year in Pittsburgh.”
