Eaton donates $7,500 to Ohio Boys Town

CLEVELAND, OH ... Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today it has donated $7,500 to benefit the Ohio Boys Town. The funds will be used to underwrite costs associated with replacing the heating and air conditioning unit at the Boys Town home on East Bridge Street in Berea.

Ohio Boys Town provides a safe and nurturing home for abused and neglected teenage boys and guides them in their development to becoming young men. It is a foster group home primarily for males between the ages of 11 and 19. In addition to housing, clothing and food, each child receives wrap-around services including individualized counseling and transitional living services.

"Eaton's generous donation is a real example of the company's commitment to making the community a better place to live," said Raymond J. Marvar, President, Ohio Boys Town Board of Trustees. "The money will help us take care of an emergency need that we weren't able to cover."

In 2003 and 2004 Eaton contributed a total of $10,000 to Ohio Boys Town for capital and physical improvements to the group home on Eddy Road in the Glenville section of Cleveland.

"Eaton is proud to be partners with Ohio Boys Town and the wonderful work they do," said Siisi Adu-Gyamfi, Eaton's vice president, Marketing and member of the Ohio Boys Town Board of Directors. "It's very rewarding for us to help make the lives of these boys a little bit better."
