CLEVELAND...Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation (NYSE:ETN) today named James W. McGill, vice president – Eaton Business System, effective immediately. McGill replaces Thomas S. Gross, who was recently named vice president, Power Quality Solutions Operations in the company's Electrical business.

McGill will continue the aggressive deployment of the Eaton Business System throughout the company to support Eaton's integrated operating company business model. He will report to Alexander M. Cutler, Eaton chairman and chief executive officer, and will be located at the company's headquarters in Cleveland.

"Tom Gross did an excellent job getting the Eaton Business System ingrained in our organization, and I'm confident Jim is the right person to help us continue leveraging this momentum into true high performance."

McGill most recently served as vice president and general manager for Eaton's Industrial Controls Division in Milwaukee. He has 27 years of combined Westinghouse and Eaton service and has held several significant leadership roles in Eaton's Electrical business, including experience in Southeast Asia. McGill holds a bachelor's degree in Math & Science from Miami University.
