Eaton™ Launches the Walterscheid™ WALRing System
EDEN PRARIE, Minn … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced it is expanding its leak-proof line of Walterscheid™ metric tube fitting systems with the introduction of the WALRing System.
The new system utilizes both a two-edge cutting ring and proven soft-seal technology, which allows for operating pressure up to 50 percent above the competition.
Assembly of WALRing connections is achieved by using a WALRing System nut (containing the cutting and support ring) and a viton soft seal in combination with standard Walterscheid fitting bodies. The viton soft seal makes replacement and re-assembly as simple as changing an O-ring.
The WALRing System is designed for use in hydraulic systems on in-plant industrial equipment, mobile on- and off-highway equipment and more. WALRing products will be available globally to support customers around the world.
Specifications of the WALRing System include:
• Built to ISO 8434-1/DIN 2353
• Offered in sizes 6 mm through 42 mm
• Withstands operating pressures up to 800 bar (11,600 PSI) with 4:1 burst rating
• Available in L-Light and S-Heavy Series
