Eaton Donates $5,000 To Friends Of The Cleveland School Of The Arts
CLEVELAND … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today it has donated $5,000 to benefit Friends of the Cleveland School of the Arts. The funds will be used to initiate an innovative new program in which students work with graphic design professionals to create print material and web content. Students will learn through in-depth work experience and their creative output will contribute to the promotion of the school. This program has received a $25,000 matching challenge grant from the Fred A. Lennon Charitable Trust and Eaton's contribution is the first step toward realizing that match.
“Eaton’s generous donation is a real example of the company’s commitment to the community,” said Christine Bluso, executive director, Friends of the Cleveland School of the Arts. “We’re fortunate to have the support of businesses like Eaton that help sustain our work and allow us to thrive.”
The mission of the Cleveland School of the Arts is to provide training in the arts with a rigorous college preparatory education. The “Friends” create an environment that empowers children with the opportunity to achieve excellence through an arts education.
