SOUTHFIELD, Mich. … After dealing with a shortened track at the IHRA season opener that kept him from qualifying, Mike Janis is eager to run his Eaton-sponsored Chevrolet Cobalt the full quarter mile at this weekend’s Knoll-Gas Nitro Jam™ Drag Racing Series Spring Nationals at Rockingham Dragway in Rockingham, North Carolina, April 20 – 22,.

"We had to deal with a curve ball at the opener last month in San Antonio,” Janis said. “They changed the track from a quarter mile to an eighth mile and we weren't ready for it. It threw our entire program off and we’re looking forward to running the full quarter mile again at Rockingham.”
