Eaton Names Mark Thompson Director - Employee Relations

CLEVELAND ... Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that Mark Thompson has been named director - Employee Relations. In this role, he will be responsible for Eaton's overall employee relations strategy and global human resources (HR) policy and practice.

Thompson joined Eaton in 2005 and most recently served as senior HR manager for the Electrical Group's Power Quality Protection Division. He also worked for Eaton from 1998-2000 as HR manager in Sanford, N.C. Thompson has also served as vice president - HR for TriVirix in Durham, N.C. Thompson holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Murray State University in Kentucky, a master's degree in journalism from University of Missouri and a master's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina.
