Eaton Continues Support Of The Woodward Dream Cruise; “Overhaulin” Host Chip Foose To Appear At Eaton Performance Park

SOUTHFIELD, Mich … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation will once again help bring back cruising along the famed Woodward Avenue in metro Detroit as an official sponsor of the 14th annual Woodward Dream Cruise and as the title sponsor of the 2nd annual Eaton Performance Park on Woodward taking place Saturday, Aug. 16.

“This is our 11th consecutive year sponsoring this grand celebration of cars and we’re looking for ward to another great weekend,” said Joseph P. Palchak, chief executive officer – Automotive Group. “We’re expecting more than 2,000 guests to our VIP hospitality area and 30,000 visitors to the Eaton Performance Park.”

Eaton guests will be treated to great food and a great view of the cars along the 16-mile cruising route. In addition, the city of Royal Oak’s Memorial Park will once again be transformed into the Eaton Performance Park and filled with top aftermarket manufacturers and family activities. One of the highlights includes autograph sessions on the RIDEMAKERZ® main stage with famous car customizer and host of The Learning Channel’s Overhaulin’ ® Chip Foose. Foose will also custom design 14 unique collectible vehicles, known as the RIDEMAKERZ® Dream Collection, to commemorate this year’s event.

The RIDEMAKERZ® Dream Collection will be sold through RIDEMAKERZ® retail stores where guests customize one-of-a-kind rides.
