Eaton Names Kim Dykema Director - Global Human Resources Functional Excellence

CLEVELAND … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today that Kim Dykema has been named director - Global Human Resources Functional Excellence.

In her new role, Dykema will be responsible for ensuring the deployment of consistent Human Resources (HR) processes across Eaton as well as programs, initiatives and tools that will help build capability and critical skills within the HR function and HR practitioners across Eaton.

Dykema joined Eaton in 2003 as division human resources manager supporting the Truck Group's aftermarket and sales and marketing groups and was then named to her most recent position as director – Human Resources for the Truck Group’s Light and Medium Duty Transmission, emerging technology divisions and business development. Prior to Eaton she worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb in a series of positions of increasing responsibility, including HR director for global human resource information systems development and implementation, and as an HR leader for several other operations and sales and marketing client groups.

Dykema holds a master's degree in business administration from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., and a bachelor's degree in business management from Central College in Pella, Iowa.
