CLEVELAND … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that Barbara Prescott has been named senior manager – Global Ethics and Financial Integrity. Prescott will continue to be based at Eaton’s World Headquarters in Cleveland.

In her new role, Prescott will be responsible for the management of Eaton's confidential ethical, legal and financial integrity reporting program. She most recently served as senior manager – employee relations for Eaton’s Automotive Group. Prior to that, she held numerous roles throughout the organization.

Prescott holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and a master’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University in New York. She expects to receive her juris doctorate degree from Cleveland State University in December 2008.
