Gerard DeVito Named Director – Engineering For Eaton’s Heavy Duty Transmission Division
KALAMAZOO, Mich … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today that Gerard DeVito has been named director of engineering for the Heavy Duty Transmission Division. In his new role, Devito will report to Curt Hutchins, vice president and president of the division, and will be responsible for all aspects of the division’s global engineering, including executing the worldwide design and development activities.
“We’re excited to have Gerard back on board in Engineering, leading our next phase of innovation and development for heavy duty transmissions,” said Hutchins. “The last two years he’s spent as a regional manager on our Roadranger field marketing team will bring an even greater customer voice and focus to our product development and launch efforts.”
DeVito started his career with Eaton in 1986 and since has held positions of increasing responsibility with the engineering, sales and marketing, and product planning functions. Most recently, he was the regional manager for Roadranger Field Marketing in the Great Lakes Region.
