Fernando Ceccarelli Named Business Unit Manager For Eaton’s European Light And Medium Duty Transmission Division

KALAMAZOO, Mich … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today that Fernando Ceccarelli will assume the role of business unit manager for the Light and Medium Duty Transmission Division (LMD) in Europe. Ceccarelli will report directly to Ken Davis, vice president and president of the division. He will be located in Tczew, Poland, and will replace Dave Bennett, who is assuming the new role of Truck Group vice president and general manager of the Asia-Pacific region.

“Fernando is one of a growing number of Eaton managers with a breadth of global experience, in Brazil, North America, and now, Europe”, said Davis. “Lessons learned from one region can be applied to another to create a stronger, more balanced worldwide operation – helping to fuel our plans for global growth.”

Ceccarelli will be responsible for leading the LMD business in Europe and at the Tczew, Poland facility. He will support all of the operation efforts as well as the regional growth initiatives, including Eaton’s hybrid presence in Europe.

Prior to his new position, Ceccarelli was the business unit manager for the Truck Group’s Brazilian components business and the Mogi Mirim facility in Brazil. He has also held the position of business development manager for LMD in Kalamazoo, Mich, as well as various roles of progressive responsibility in Brazil. Ceccarelli holds a master’s degree in both business management and engineering management from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
