BAE Systems Debuts First Eurofighter Typhoon For Royal Saudi Air Force With Eaton Onboard
Irvine, California, November 10, 2008 – BAE Systems recently announced the debut flight of the first Saudi Arabia Eurofighter Typhoon from their Warton site in Lancashire. The Royal Saudi Air Force is on track to receive 72 of the advanced fighter aircraft from mid -2009. The Royal Saudi fleet will be made up of 24 early Tranche 2 production Eurofighters to be diverted from the UK Royal Air Force and the remaining 48 platforms will be assembled at a new production facility in Saudi Arabia.
