Bell/Agusta Aerospace Announces BA609 Tiltrotor Aircraft Certification Testing Still On Track

Irvine, California, December 8, 2008 – According to the Bell Helicopter and Agusta Aerospace BA609 team, the revolutionary commercial tiltrotor platform certification program is still on track. Four BA609s will be used in the next three-year development and flight testing program with 2011 targeted as the current time for certification. Bell/Agusta states that they currently have more than 80 orders for the BA609.
