VAN WERT, Ohio …Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced a “Powering Communities Grant” of $200,000 to benefit Van Wert County Hospital. Funds will be used to support the hospital’s $6 million capital campaign to expand its emergency services department.

Building on Eaton’s tradition of corporate citizenship, the company’s “Powering Communities Grants” help improve the quality of life in communities where Eaton employees live and work.

“In addition to being a healthcare provider for the community, Van Wert County Hospital is also a large employer, an economic driver and a health educator and community advocate,” said Mark Minick, president and chief executive officer, Van Wert County Hospital.  “Thanks to Eaton’s generous donation we can improve and expand our emergency services ensuring better care for patients seeking immediate and acute care.”
