CLEVELAND … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that James Even has been named to the new position of vice president and assistant controller – the Americas, effective Feb. 2. Even reports to Billie K. Rawot, senior vice president and controller.
Even is responsible for leading the accounting and financial shared services activities for the Americas and the internal financial analysis and operations reporting process on a global basis. He will be located at Eaton’s World Headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.
“With the growth we are experiencing around the world, it is important to establish a concentrated focus within the accounting and control function on the Americas as a region, similar to the regional focus now on Europe and Asia Pacific,” said Rawot. “Identifying Jim as the accounting and control leader for the Americas provides an opportunity for synergy in our activities across the Americas region.”
Even’s eight years with Eaton have included positions as director of International Tax, director of Financial Accounting, director of International Accounting Strategies (in Morges, Switzerland) and his most recent role as corporate function integration lead (in Bonn, Germany).
