PARIS …Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation and Russian Helicopters, JSC, announced today a new business alliance for parts assembly in Russia. The announcement was made during a signing ceremony at the Paris Air Show.
Eaton will assist Russian Helicopters in setting up a hose assembly facility at the Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant in Moscow. The hoses will be manufactured and assembled for Russian Helicopters using parts and material supplied by Eaton’s Aerospace facility in Gilching, Germany.
“We are excited about expanding into the Russian market in this new cooperation with Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant,” said Brad Morton, president of Eaton’s Aerospace Group. “Their reputation for designing state-of-the-art aircraft is well known throughout the world, and Eaton’s high standards of quality and craftsmanship will be an ideal match for their stringent production requirements.”
The Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant is the oldest Russian rotary-wing aircraft design, research and development center. The production site is located in Arsenyev, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Ulan-Ude. Light helicopter Mi-34, combat helicopters Mi-28N, Mi-24/35, heavy-lift Mi-26T, multipurpose helicopters Mi-8/17, Mi-38 are among the products of Mil.
