Eaton Receives David Weekley Homes’ Coveted Partners Of Choice Award For Fourth Consecutive Year

Date: August 27, 2009

PITTSBURGH … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced it earned the prestigious Partners of Choice Award from David Weekley Homes. Eaton is one of only 11 suppliers this year to achieve an “A,A” rating in both quality and service from David Weekley Homes, the second largest privately-held homebuilder in the United States.

David Weekley Homes conducts quarterly reviews of approximately 150 suppliers by 600 Team Members at all levels of the organization. This National Trading Partner Survey is the catalyst for determining excellence, by rating and scoring suppliers. By maintaining an “A,A” ranking for 12 consecutive months, the supplier is recognized as a ““A,A” Partners of Choice,” award winner.

“World-class excellence is when you are willing to put your products and services up against anybody, anywhere, anytime, and come out on top,” said Bill Justus, vice president, supply chain services, David Weekley Homes. “Eaton has done this by competing against 150 companies from different industries that support residential home building. In the eyes of approximately 600 of our team members from every level in our company, Eaton is among the best of the best in delivering on this value proposition.”

“Delivering superior product quality and outstanding customer service every single day is a goal all Eaton employees share, and one that truly sets us apart from our competition,” said Dave Tallman, vice president and general manager – Residential Products Division, Eaton’s Electrical Sector. “This award speaks to our mutual, on-going commitment to excellence. We consider it a great honor to receive this recognition and believe that the combination of service, quality and competiveness is an integral part of how we do business.“
