EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced it and Hydraquip Distribution of Houston, Texas, demonstrated commitment to after-sales customer support by hosting seminars on pump controls in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as well as at an Oklahoma City producer of oilfield service equipment that is a key Hydraquip customer.
Led by Eaton Application and Commercial Engineering and Product Management personnel, the seminars educated engineering, purchasing, maintenance, and operator personnel on controls for open- and closed-loop pumps and hydrostatic transmissions and their operation.
“The seminars demonstrated Eaton and Hydraquip’s commitment to value-added services that go well beyond the sale of products,” said Steve Zumbusch, manager—Application and Commercial Engineering, Eaton. “These two-way, face-to-face discussions are excellent forums for sharing product knowledge with end-users and learning about their application concerns. Promoting dialogue and demonstrating Eaton’s broad electrohydraulic and mechanical solutions give us a powerful opportunity to impact buying decisions.”
Each quarter Hydraquip invites technical experts from manufacturers it represents to lead in-depth, application-focused technical sessions on a new concept or technology.
“Although costs for the seminars are absorbed by Hydraquip, the payback is well worthwhile,” said Pat Kinnison, Hydraquip account manager. “The seminars help us build strong customer relationships that foster increased sales.”
Hydraquip training seminars are structured so that professional engineers can receive continuing education credits for their participation.
