EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that it will be exhibiting two new lines of hose and tubing products, a new hose designed to reduce evaporative emissions, plus power steering systems, load-sensing pumps, fixed and variable displacement motors, valves, manifolds, and other hydraulic and electro-hydraulic components and systems from its F(x) open architecture portfolio at AG CONNECT Expo in Orlando Jan. 13 – 15.
“With population growth and climate change placing unprecedented pressure on the world’s food supply, the efficiency and productivity of agricultural equipment has never been more important than it is today,” said Clyde Thomas, manager of marketing and technical services for Eaton's Hydraulics Group. “AG CONNECT is an ideal venue to introduce Eaton’s hydraulic and electro-hydraulic components and systems to the global community of original equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and users of mobile agricultural equipment.”
Among the products Eaton will exhibit at AG CONNECT are the new Weatherhead® Diamond Advantage™ and Aeroquip® Triple Crown™ hoses. These products offer up to 29 percent higher pressure ratings and significantly higher temperature ratings than competitive hoses. Selected Diamond Advantage and Triple Crown hoses also utilize advanced covers offering improved abrasion resistance. New Aeroquip and Weatherhead high-flexibility hoses and hoses designed for operation in very low temperatures will also be exhibited.
“We will also be exhibiting hose products designed to handle unique characteristics of the various bio-fuels that are now coming on-stream around the world,” Thomas added. “Eaton has extensive experience supporting builders of both gasoline and diesel engines with hose and tubing solutions.
“Eaton is also a world leader in combining the intelligence of electronics with the unsurpassed power density of hydraulics to produce electro-hydraulic solutions for power management and motion control. Our hydraulic steering systems and hydraulic cooling systems are of particular interest to mobile agricultural equipment OEMs.”
