MORGES, Switzerland -- Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that Igor Anufriev has been named country manager, Russia effective June 16. He will report directly to Yannis Tsavalas, president -- Europe, Middle East and Africa, and will be based in Eaton’s Russia corporate office in Moscow.

“Igor’s extensive knowledge of the industry and his broad range of professional experience in the Commonwealth of Independent States will be key to maintaining our aggressive growth curve in this critical region,” said Tsavalas. “He has worked very successfully with multinational corporations and the Russian business community to build long-term, sustained growth and establish distributor and sales networks. His background will benefit Eaton greatly as we continue to grow our power management business in Russia.”

Prior to joining Eaton, Anufriev served as managing director, CIS and Baltics for Danaher Corporation’s Gilbarco Veeder-Root business. Earlier positions included new product planning manager for Eli Lilly’s Russian operations and sales, trading and business analyst roles at Vneshtorgbank in Russia. Anufriev holds an MBA from INSEAD in France and a master’s degree in international relations from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO-University).
