Eaton Appoints James M. Henley Senior Vice President, Corporate Quality

CLEVELAND… Power management company Eaton today announced that James M. Henley has been named senior vice president, Corporate Quality, effective June 1. Henley will report to Nanda Kumar, executive vice president, Eaton Business System. In his new role, Henley will work with Eaton’s businesses and corporate team to further enhance the quality of Eaton's product and service portfolio.

“James is a leader who brings more than 20 years of functional experience and depth to this corporate role, and he has a great track record of developing the strategy and delivering results in all his assignments and across a number of industries,” said Kumar.

Henley joined Eaton in 2012 as part of the Cooper Industries acquisition in the role of quality director, Eaton Electrical Products Group. Henley joined Cooper in 2006 as quality director for Cooper’s Bussmann Division. He also led Cooper’s Quality Council, responsible for advancing quality performance and initiatives across each of Cooper’s businesses. Prior to joining Cooper, Henley was division supplier quality manager at Newell-Rubbermaid and held leadership roles at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. and Primex Technologies.

Henley holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kansas and is a Certified Quality Engineer by the American Society for Quality.
