Eaton’s Aeroquip Performance Products To Sponsor 2010 AmSnow Super Sled Shootout

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced its Aeroquip® Performance Product will be the title sponsor for American Snowmobiler’s (AmSnow) 21st annual Super Sled Shootout, September 25-26, at U.S. 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Michigan.

Snowmobilers from across North America will convene at the track—where the starting line is named Aeroquip Alley—to race on the quarter-mile, asphalt drag strip at speeds exceeding 170 mph.

“The Aeroquip Performance Products group is a longtime supporter of all forms of motorsports and the Martin track, we are excited to be involved with this dynamic event,” said Eaton’s Michael Rasnick, retail aftermarket account manager.

“Through our support of both Mike Janis’ NHRA Pro Modified team and Todd Robertson’s Outlaw Doorslammer team, Eaton is highly involved with drag racing. Our Super Sled Shootout sponsorship offers a new marketing opportunity for Eaton to promote Aeroquip Performance hose and fitting products among North America’s fastest asphalt snowmobilers.”

The AmSnow Super Sled Shootout is spearheaded by American Snowmobiler magazine and governed by the National Snowmobile Drag Racing Association. The event features premier Outlaw, All Motor, Pro Stock, and Big Twin classes, as well as classes for all levels of sled riders and motorcyclists.
