Eaton Names Mark Schmidt Division Sales Manager for Aerospace Group’s Conveyance Systems Division

IRVINE …Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that Mark Schmidt has been named Division Sales Manager for the Aerospace Group’s Conveyance Systems Division, effective Oct. 1. He will report to Dave Crivelli, Director of Sales – Customer Solutions and Services, and will be based at CSD headquarters in Jackson, Mich.
“Mark’s proven leadership skills and industry knowledge will be key assets to the Conveyance sales team as they work to drive intake and growth,” said Andy Weeks, Vice President and General Manager, Conveyance Systems Division. “Mark will focus on increasing our level of customer intimacy, developing a deeper understanding of our market dynamics, supporting the development and execution of the CSD strategic plan, and driving continuous process improvements.”
Under Schmidt’s leadership, the CSD sales team will pursue a new organizational approach by combining resources with the Product Line Management organization. Their goal is to focus resources around strategic products and segments, including Hydraulic and Fuel Conveyance, Engine Systems and Components, Pneumatic Systems and Components, Ground Fueling, and Aftermarket.
Schmidt, a former Business Development Manager for Aeroquip Aerospace, has 27 years of experience in the aerospace industry and previously served as Marketing Manager for Customer Solutions and Services for Eaton’s Aerospace Group. He has also served as Manager of New Product Development, Product Manager, Business Unit Manager, and Product Sales Engineer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in aircraft engineering technology from Western Michigan University.
