CLEVELAND … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation (NYSE:ETN) today announced it has completed its purchase of ACTOM Low-Voltage in South Africa. The transaction was announced January 21, 2011.
ACTOM Low-Voltage is a leading South African manufacturer and supplier of motor control components, engineered electrical distribution systems and uninterruptible power supply systems. Headquartered in Johannesburg, ACTOM Low-Voltage had sales of $65 million during the last twelve months. The business has 490 employees and two manufacturing facilities in South Africa.
