EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that standard warranty coverage for all of its Airflex® industrial clutch and brake products has been doubled from one to two years from date of product manufacture. This is believed to be the longest warranty coverage available from a major manufacturer, and applies to all of Eaton’s Airflex products with date stamps after July 1, 2011.
“As a direct result of our ongoing efforts to improve quality, we are able to double the warranty period on our industrial clutch and brake products,” said Eaton’s Airflex Product Manager Mark Reitz. “We believe it’s our responsibility as an industry leader to pass the benefits along to our customers to constantly increase the value of our products.
“Customers in the mineral processing and other industries have been asking for a longer warranty period for some time now, and Eaton has stepped up to deliver it. We believe this adds solid value to our products which have earned our customers confidence for more than 70 years.”
