Eaton’s Sustainability Efforts Recognized by Citizens for Pennsylvania’s Future

PITTSBURGH … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced it has received a Green Power: Turn It On! Award from Citizens for Pennsylvania's Future (PennFuture), a leading statewide environmental organization. The award, which was presented Thursday, Oct. 27, at an awards event at the Fairmont hotel in downtown Pittsburgh, recognizes people, businesses and institutions that promote the clean energy economy in Pennsylvania.

PennFuture noted that it selected Eaton for its contributions to Pennsylvania’s environment and economy and for playing a major role in developing the state’s renewable energy market. Eaton’s advancement of clean energy technologies and electric vehicle supply equipment was highlighted, as was  the company’s installation of a solar-powered electric vehicle carport charging station at its Warrendale, Pa., Power Systems Experience Center.
