— Power management company Eaton announced it will highlight its energy storage inverters, electrical balance of system and control solutions at the Energy Storage Association (ESA) Annual Conference, April 18 to 20 in booth #526 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. During the event, Eaton and its project collaborators will deliver educational sessions discussing how to maximize system revenue and fast-track energy storage projects.
“Energy storage will play a critical role in helping address grid stability and peak demand challenges as renewable energy integration continues to grow,” said John Vernacchia, segment manager for renewable energy at Eaton. “Eaton has a long history of working with customers to advance grid reliability and resiliency and looks forward to demonstrating our solutions at the ESA conference and discussing best practices in equipment design and lessons learned from recent projects.”
Eaton’s Chris Thompson, grid power business unit manager, will participate in a panel discussion titled, “Purpose Built Technology” on April 20 at 2 p.m. in Room 203. The session will explore the system design strategies helping to enhance revenue and enable a more cost effective model for energy storage.
Additionally, Powin Energy’s director of applications engineering Stephan Williams will deliver a presentation on fast-tracking energy storage projects to enhance grid reliability. A recent project collaboration between Powin and Eaton will serve as the foundation for the session. The presentation will take place on April 20 between 12:15 and 2 p.m. in Exhibit Hall B.
At Eaton’s booth #526, Eaton will showcase power conversion system solutions for energy storage applications, including utility-scale energy storage inverters and transformers, energy storage controllers and microgrid control systems. Eaton’s Power Expert storage inverters can be explored through Eaton’s augmented reality app at the conference.
