CLEVELAND … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced that Pavan Pattada has been named vice president of business development for the Industrial Sector, effective November 1. In this role, Pattada will report to Ken Semelsberger, senior vice president of finance and planning for the Industrial Sector. He will be responsible for developing growth strategies for the aerospace, vehicle and hydraulics businesses. Pattada will relocate to Eaton’s World Headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.
“Pavan’s experience with the vehicle industries, his operational background and experience in Asia Pacific will enable him to make strong contributions to the Industrial Sector’s business development efforts,” said Semelsberger.
Since joining Eaton in 2002 as manager of e-commerce, Pattada has served as director of global sourcing, business unit manager of Eaton’s truck business in India and as director of operations for the North American Truck business. Pattada will continue to stay engaged on an interim basis with the North American Truck manufacturing operations until a replacement is named.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from L.B.S. College of Advance Maritime Studies in Mumbai, India, and a master’s of business administration, strategy and operations from Duke University in North Carolina.
