Eaton Names Helena Nelligan Vice President Human Resources – Electrical Sector Americas

PITTSBURGH … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced that Helena R. Nelligan has been appointed to the position of vice president of human resources, Electrical Sector Americas. Nelligan will continue to be based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
“Helena brings a wide breadth of global business experiences to her new role leading human resources for the Electrical Sector Americas,” said Robert H. Sims, senior vice president of human resources. “She has a terrific track record of building organizational capability that will help us advance our talent management strategy.”
In 2010, Nelligan became director of human resources for the Electrical Components Organization (ECO). She joined Eaton in 2005 as division human resources manager for the Truck Group, supporting sales, marketing and the Truck Aftermarket Division. She held global positions of increasing responsibility including development of the Truck Group human resources function across Asia Pacific while based in Shanghai, China, and leading the corporate human resources standardization processes for Eaton’s operations in Brazil.
Prior to working at Eaton, Nelligan held various human resources leadership roles driving regional and global operations within Merisant Worldwide and British Petroleum (BP).
Nelligan holds a master’s degree in labor relations and human resources and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Michigan State University.
