Eaton Names Carrie Ortsey Director of Organizational Effectiveness

CLEVELAND … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced Carrie Ortsey has been named director of organizational effectiveness. In this role, she will provide global leadership in the design, improvement and assessment of organizational practices for performance management, organization design, change leadership, culture – employee engagement and values, workforce planning, HR analytics, research and reporting service delivery.
“Carrie brings excellent Eaton HR experience as well as innovative organizational development experience to her role,” said Deborah A. Lauer, vice president of talent management and organizational effectiveness.
Ortsey joined Eaton in 2006 and most recently served as the Electrical Sector’s lead for LINK, a human resource project involved in the efficient collecting and updating of employee information. Prior to that, she served as division human resources manager for the Electrical Services and Systems Division in the Electrical Sector. Prior to joining Eaton, Ortsey worked at Diageo, a global premium beverage distributor where she served as the director of training and organizational effectiveness for North America Supply. Prior to that, she held a variety of HR positions of increasing responsibility for ARAMARK.
Ortsey holds a bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in labor relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
