Eaton Walterscheid Metric Tube Fittings Provide Precise Assembly Reliability and Leak-Free Connections on Stoll Tractor Front Loaders

Date: April 4, 2012

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that Wilhelm Stoll Maschinenfabrik GmbH of Lengede, Germany, is equipping its ProfiLine FZ/FS tractor front loaders with Eaton’s Walterscheid™ metric tube fittings that provide precise assembly reliability and leak-free connections.

The loading arms of Stoll’s premium ProfiLine FZ/FS front loaders feature Walterscheid WALFORMplus fittings on steel tube hydraulic lines.  The fittings are supplied by Eaton’s Hydraulics facility in Lohmar, Germany.

In addition to the fittings’ precision assembly procedures that provide consistent metal-to-metal sealing, Stoll chose Eaton® WALFORMplus fittings based on their robust design that withstands the front loaders’ continuous use on tractors that are subject to vibration, high mechanical forces and pressure fluctuations.

“We form approximately 100,000 tube assemblies each year,” said Konrad Willenborg, Stoll’s quality management leader. “Eaton’s WALFORMplus fittings have enabled us to achieve complete reliability in assembly, and user experience demonstrates that the fittings are leak-proof.”
