Eaton Sponsors Realisation Of The Future Smart Grid Conference

Eaton’s Electrical Sector is to sponsor the Realisation Of The Future Smart Grid Conference which takes place in London on 6th and 7th June 2012. Speaking at the event will be Philip Dingle, Eaton’s Utilities and Networks Segment Manager who will deliver a paper entitled Perspectives on the Smart Grid Challenges.
The two-day conference has been designed to meet the needs of all key stakeholders in this growing sector. Realisation of the Future Smart Grid will offer a complete UK and European DNO (Distribution Network Operator) overview on the state of research, future regulatory standards, technical solutions and current experience in the field of intelligent energy networks. This conference will also cover the latest updates on the second tier LCNF (Low Carbon Network Fund) update in the UK.
Philip Dingle’s presentation will examine the opportunities and challenges presented by the last 30 miles of the Smart Grid network from the point of medium voltage distribution to the industrial and residential consumer and into their premises. He will discuss the latest research and reports and highlight the current Smart Grid political, regulatory and infrastructure challenges. He will also be able to review a number of case studies from across Europe.
