Eaton Corporation Appoints David Keifer Director of Eaton University

CLEVELAND … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that David Keifer has been appointed director of Eaton University. In this role, Keifer will be responsible for leading the ongoing development and execution of Eaton University’s long- term strategy to provide an increased level of direct learning support to Eaton businesses.

Eaton University provides innovative tools, solutions and expertise to support the continuous learning and improved performance of Eaton employees. Eaton University allows employees to access instructor-led, web-based classes focused on continuous development and learning. As a global program, The Eaton University Library provides a full suite of library services such as reference and research, training, material delivery and access to thousands of leading business and technical books, journals and magazines.

Keifer joined Eaton in 1990 as a sales support manager and assumed positions of increasing responsibility in sales, customer and training support both in the U.S. and Europe, Middle East and Africa. Since 2008, Keifer served as manager, Global Support Services for the Electrical Sectors Power Quality Operations where he transformed training operations into a state-of-the art learning organization. In addition, he created a new Global Sales and Support Operation that now delivers best-in-class service to Eaton customers throughout the Americas.

Keifer holds a bachelor of science degree in electronics engineering technology from DeVry University in Columbus, Ohio.
