EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that HERBERT Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH & Company, KG of Hünfeld, Germany, has specified Eaton hydraulic power units and manifold blocks on its tire curing presses. The Eaton components help to increase machine uptime, resulting in five end-user tire manufacturers specifying only Eaton components on their HERBERT presses.
The Eaton power units supply oil flow that raises and lowers the presses, which contain molds that shape and vulcanize rubber tires. The manifold blocks control cylinder speed and pressure.
Eaton’s capability to support both frame- and column-type presses with varying hydraulic component configurations was instrumental in HERBERT’s selection of Eaton components. Other key factors were Eaton’s global manufacturing and product supply that ensure on-time deliveries to HERBERT’s global manufacturing sources.
