Eaton Introduces Single-Source Filtration Solutions for the Beverage Industry at Brau Beviale 2012

NUREMBERG … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced their participation at Brau Beviale 2012 and will be presenting its extensive range of single-source beer filtration products including their well-known Begerow Product Line. The key element will be the expanded range of filtration systems for various process steps in beer production and other beverage industry applications.

The mineral-free BECOPAD^® depth filter medium offers impressive throughput, stability, and purity. The high-purity cellulose is cross-linked to form a unique structure through a specially developed process that requires no mineral components for sterile filtration and therefore has no negative effects on the sensory characteristics. The BECOPAD depth filter media can be washed and sterilized repeatedly, guarantying economic efficiency. The BECOPAD product line offers seamless grading from coarse to sterile filtration enabling exact adaptation to specific requirements.

CLEARGAF^TM filter bags in conjunction with the SENTINEL^® ring form a filter bag system that meets the strict requirements of the food and beverage industries. This includes several bag types that are the only bags on the market to offer the following features:

• Processing of materials in accordance with FDA requirements (21CFR177)

• Compliance with EC Regulation 1935/2004 and EC Directive 2002/72/EC

• Independent tests and certification

• Special individual wrapping and storage

BECODISC^® stacked disc cartridges, used in the enclosed BECO INTEGRA^® DISC stacked disc cartridge housings, combine the benefits of depth filter sheets with the specific design features of a fully enclosed filtration system. In addition to smaller space requirements, BECODISC stacked disc cartridges also score through simplified handling and short setup. Thanks to their long service life, multiple filtrations can be carried out over longer periods, thereby improving economic efficiency and avoiding drip losses.

As part of the Begerow Product Line, various BECO^® depth filter cartridges from the BECO PROTECT^® range PG, PP, TS, and FS as well as membrane filter cartridges like the BECO MEMBRAN PFplus and BECO MEMBRAN PSplus will be presented. BECO MEMBRAN H and BECO PROTECT KM cover the area of compressed gas and steam filtration.

Eaton rounds off its program with a wide range of products for fruit juice and liquor processing, such as the newest generation of enzymes, including the new Panzym YieldMASH and special bentonites and activated charcoal for ultrafiltration. Although visitors will have the opportunity to gather complete information on classic filtration products, the focus will be on the diversity of Eaton's offerings.
