The paper, titled “The Journey of an Enterprise in a Process Industry Toward Improved Electrical Workplace Safety,” is a case study based on Eaton’s Engineering Services’ arc flash compliance project completed in 2012 for Lehigh Hanson’s 14 cement plants in North America. The paper was authored by Dave Durocher, global industry manager, Mining and Minerals Processing, Eaton; Greg Kemper, director, Project Engineering, Lehigh Hanson; and Bill Vilcheck, advisory engineer, Eaton Engineering Services. The case study was chosen as “Best Conference Technical Paper” from among 31 technical papers.
