Eaton Appoints João Vicente Faria as President for Latin America

SÃO PAULO… Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton announced it has appointed the executive João Vicente Faria as the Corporate President and Vice-President of the Electrical sector of the global company for Latin America.
With a successful background, the executive joined Eaton in 1987 as a materials engineer for the Vehicles Group in Valinhos (SP), and held numerous positions of increasing responsibility and leadership in several areas, including engineering, quality, forging, trucks, manufacturing and agricultural businesses.
In 2004, Faria had his first international assignment in Italy, when he worked as a general manager of an Automotive division operation. In 2007, he was promoted as the president of the same division and transferred to the United States. In 2009, he returned to Italy to take over as the president of the Vehicle Group for Europe, Middle East and Africa. In 2010, he moved to the United States to assume the presidency of the Hydraulics Group in the Americas. João holds a degree in materials engineering from the University of São Carlos, and a master's degree in engineering and MBA from the FIA / USP.
