Eaton Expands Supply for Lennar Homes to Include Cooper Wiring Devices
Date: October 7, 2013
PITTSBURGH … Power management company Eaton today announced it will strengthen its existing relationship with Lennar to include products from Cooper Wiring Devices by Eaton. Eaton has supplied Lennar Homes, one of the nation’s leading builders of quality homes for all generations, with its legacy products since 2004.
“We have collaborated with Lennar for more than eight years, and we are excited to expand our relationship by now supplying Cooper Wiring Devices by Eaton,” said Joanne Edwards, senior vice president and general manager, Residential and Wiring Devices Division, Eaton. “Our continued relationship with Lennar demonstrates Eaton’s ability to meet customer demand by providing industry-leading safe and reliable products.”
In addition to several products covered by the agreement, Lennar will now offer Eaton’s Cooper Wiring Devices’ award-winning USB Duplex TR Receptacle on certain homes. Recognized with Electrical Construction & Maintenance magazine’s 2013 Product of the Year Platinum Award, the dual USB charger includes two receptacle positions and features a commercial application rating. The device also incorporates tamper-resistant shutters, which offer increased safety by resisting the insertion of dangerous foreign objects.
“As a leading homebuilder, Lennar utilizes materials from top competitors in each industry to provide our customers with safe, dependable products for our homes,” said Mike Stearns, National Purchasing Manager, Lennar. “The addition of Cooper Wiring Devices by Eaton helps to achieve customer satisfaction by delivering world-class products.”
