Hydraulics

The hydraulic fluid system powers many of the primary components and systems that initiate and maintain trouble-free flight on today’s aircraft. The intricate system of pumps, motors, pressure switches, pressure control modules, reservoirs and miles of tubing, hoses and connections, enables pilots to control the slats and spoilers on the wings at take off and landing, lower and retract the landing gear, and control the rudder system to maneuver the aircraft in flight.
