Low Voltage Breaker to Vacuum Starter Replacements
LV-VSRs are newly manufactured breaker-to-vacuum motor starter replacements, designed to replace breakers that are used as motor starters. They are tested to IEEE/ANSI standards and have passive and active interlocking. They can be applied up to 600V and in most cases can operate motors up to 235 HP.
- Eaton's C440 Electronic Overload Relay is used for motor protection on the LV-VSR. The C440 is a self-powered electronic overload relay which provides thermal overload protection, phase loss, selectable (on/off) phase unbalance, Selectable (on/off) ground fault. Optional communication modules can be added for plant wide monitoring systems.
- The LV-VSR uses state of the art Eaton vacuum interrupters. The interrupters employ the latest vacuum technology with long life, resistance to environmental contaminants, and positive wear indicators.
- The LV-VSR uses brand new line and load finger clusters, secondary contact assemblies and drawout mechanism which has been designed and tested for the original breaker cell.
- LV-VSR designs can replace selected models for: Westinghouse, GE and ITE power circuit breakers.
