RBA / RDB Fuses
Eaton’s RBA and RDB expulsion power fuse units offer outstanding protection and reliability, broad selection possibilities, ease of installation, and economy over time. They can be used in enclosures (RBA) or outdoors (RDB) for distribution system protection up to an operational voltage of 34.5 kV. The fuses operate exactly when and how they should, and do not operate when they shouldn’t, a subtle but important distinction.
- Wide range of continuous current ratings and time-current characteristics allow close fusing, maximizing protection and overall coordination.
- Pure silver used for the elements of RBA refill units, providing the best temperature characteristics.
- Only the fuse refill unit is totally discarded after it interrupts a fault, making it economical over time.
