Cutler-Hammer | Vintage Westinghouse FAQs
These models are identified with general order number.
A general order number is generated once a purchase order is entered on the Vista system. The Vista system is a global system used by Eaton to track ship dates, products, orders entered and sales billed.
The general order numbers for the Freedom, Advantage, and Series 2100 motor control centers will be found externally on the horizontal wire way door. The general order number and unit numbers are also located on labels within the units. The unit labels are typically located on the right wrapper side.
The general order numbers for Vintage Westinghouse are located in the first or second structure of the line up. The numbers are inside the horizontal or vertical wire way doors.
Typical general order numbers have as few as two (2) and as many as four (4) characters beginning in the number and then 4-5 digits preceding the characters. The general order number will also have an item number. Provide the general order number and item number when requesting quotations. There were also general order numbers that were all digits. Typically, this indicated a distributor entered the order direct.
