- When one feeder is out of operation, transformers connected to the remaining primary feeders continue to feed the load, which means users experience seamless, continuous service.
- Each consumer's service is supplied from at least two directions, improving regulation and lowering voltage dip, for fewer breaks or variations in service levels.
- Loads are divided among the various network transformers so the best possible voltage conditions and lowest losses are obtained with less transformer capacity required, which gives the most reliable form of power delivery.
