VaultSense Wireless Current Sensor
Eaton's analog Wireless Current Sensor measures vital system data for network underground vaults and manholes and is an integral component of total vault protection. It clamps around secondary cables in underground vaults and wirelessly transmits current seconds via Zigbee protocol.
- Wireless transmission eliminates wires and allows for compact packaging which reduces installation and space requirements.
- Designed so no additional configurations are needed, units are ready for use upon placement around a power cable, thus speeding installation time.
- The current sensor requires NO external power source, it inductively powers the unit during operation.
- Use of a screw clamp provides firm contact between the sensor and the cable, thus immobilizing the unit and ensuring consistently accurate data.
