IPONI
The INCOM Product Operated Network Interface (IPONI) card adds communication capability to various Eaton products. Each IPONI has three 16-digit address switches to uniquely identify each device on the network. IPONIs are designed to be daisy-chained throughout a unit substation or equipment room to a master device such as an MMINT, MINTII, or Power Xpert Gateway. From the master computer, information is distributed through the facility’s TCP/IP Ethernet network.
- Nonpolarity-sensitive for ease of installation.
- Noise immunity enables routing of communications cable in and around low or high voltage gear and equipment.
- Flexible wiring rules enable star or daisy chain applications connecting hundreds of devices over thousands of feet.
