Residential Meter Stacks
As with meter packs, modular metering is typically installed at residential apartment complexes, duplexes, triplexes, etc. However, modular metering allows for as many sockets as needed to fit the particular application. Eaton’s Residential Meter Stacks (1MM and 3MM stacks) can be ordered with any main device (MTB, MCB, MFS, or BPS) for main disconnect or electrical protection.
- Meter socket and tenant main breaker/wireway sections are separated by a solid metal barrier to guard unmetered bus against power theft.
- A convenient termination for neutral conductors is in the wireway of each module.
- Enclosures are made of galvanized steel construction and include rust-inhibiting phosphate primer and gray baked enamel for long-term durability.
- Meter socket base is installed without any fasteners, reducing chances for hot spots.
- Separate covers allow easy access to tenant breaker and wireway section as well as permit work on breakers or in wireway without disturbing meters or meter covers.
