Group Metering
Eaton's Group Metering line offers All-In-One and Modular Metering. Each consists of a main device and multiple meter sockets in one enclosure or several connected enclosures. Customers can install a multi-tenant metering device in one location to have a space-saving, cost-effective energy tabulation system.
Meter Packs
Eaton's Meter Packs, or All-In-Ones, allow multi-tenant metering in a single location and thus provide a space and installation cost savings for residential and light commercial applications. Ideal for garden apartments, small condominiums and townhouses where six or less units are metered through one centrally located meter pack.
Main Service Modules
Eaton's Main Service Modules are part of Gangable Metering, which consists of a Main Service Module used in conjunction with a Meter Stack to make a custom metering lineup. Gangable Metering is used in large condominiums, strip malls or other applications where more than six units are metered.
Main Circuit Breakers
Main Circuit Breakers are designed to protect from damage caused by overload or short circuit. Eaton's main circuit breakers are part of the main service modules used as service entrance equipment and housed in a rainproof enclosure.
Main Fusible Switches
The NEC requires a main disconnect and overcurrent protection device ahead of the meters when more than six branch circuits are used. Eaton’s Main Fusible Switches act as one point of disconnect and overcurrent protection. Main lugs and neutral are included with device. Switches are rated at 100 kAIC.
Surge Metering
Eaton’s multiple metering product family offers main surge devices. The main surge is mounted between the main service module and the meter stacks and serves the purpose of providing surge protection for downstream multiple metering products. It is compatible with all meter stacks currently manufactured (1MM, 3MM, 35MM and 37MM).
Residential Meter Stacks
Residential Meter Stacks are a modular metering solution typically installed at residential apartment complexes, duplexes, etc. They allow for as many sockets as needed to fit the particular application. Order with any main device (MTB, MCB, MFS, or BPS) for main disconnect or electrical protection.
Commercial Meter Stacks
Eaton’s Commercial Meter Stacks are primarily used in light commercial applications such as strip malls, office complexes, and industrial parks. Like the residential stacks (1MM and 3MM) these devices can be ordered with any main device (MTB, MCB, MFS, or BPS) for a main disconnect or electrical protection.
Phase Balancing
Eaton’s phase-balanced meter stack uses fewer stacks for complete phase balancing. As electrical rooms grow smaller, the need is greater than ever to provide space-saving metering products as part of a fully phase-balanced system. Eaton's phase-balanced stack is the answer.
