As a leader in Partial Discharge analysis, Eaton is excited to bring our expertise to you through our Remote Monitoring services.
Eaton remote monitoring begins with the Insulgard meter, which is connected to a data collection IPC (or industrial PC), and used to enable communication to the Local Area Network. Using a secure tunnel to the internet, data is sent to the Eaton back office where the system will download the information gathered from the PDM and analyze each PDM for trends and alarms each day. The alarms will be directed to any number of mediums such as email, cell phone or pager, including our expert monitoring team at our back office.
We also include a monthly general report that will quickly indicate if PD is present via red, yellow and green indicators. The reports will also show your systems past six months’ activity and indicate if your system is improving or declining. You may request a more detailed report that is available on demand. All concerns will be highlighted in the recommendation sections of the report.
